Silver Books in Virginia

Call for Assistance.  If you know of a library that has Silver Books, please post a message in the Discussion Forum (members only) with the details and he will update this page.  Thank you!

The book series is more commonly known as the "Silver Books" due to their covering (so yes, we can judge a book by its cover, in this case). But seriously, use the title below to search the catalog on your favorite library website or when asking a librarian directly.

  • Mayflower families through five generations

The Silver Books Project, supported by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants (GSMD), are an invaluable resource for Mayflower members and those who wish to research the lineage of passengers by serving as the 'de facto' reference guide for up to 5 or more generations nearest each of the Mayflower passengers with known descendants.

Within the Commonwealth of Virginia, several libraries and resource centers have copies of the Silver Books.  Here are the known locations we've gathered for your value as a society member.
